Innovation in a traditional industry – a chat among LegalTech Founders

We are very much looking forward to welcoming Paulina, Luca and Fabian in our April webinar. We will be talking about:

- Challenges of driving innovation in a traditional industry
- How ca we encourage lawyers to embrace innovation and rethink the way they work?
- Balancing data and security concerns in legal tech startups

During her PhD, Paulina has seen the AI revolution first hand at ETH and Google and decided it is time to challenge the status quo in legaltech with her own team of AI experts. While her PhD connected researchers from OpenAI, Google Brain, and ETH Zurich, it's now her mission at DeepJudge to connect the legal world with AI technology.

Luca graduated with a Master of Law from the University of Zurich and gained versatile experience in the legal industry, including positions at renowned business law firms. He has also conducted research at the intersection of law and technology. At the onset of the Corona crisis, Luca co-founded the non-profit legal consultancy Legal Help and scaled it to over 100 volunteers. This was the basis for founding his current startup Jurata together with co-founders David Roegiers and Simon Raess with the vision of building a digital one-stop-shop for legal services.

Fabian is co-founder & CEO of CASUS, a legal tech spin-off of the University of St. Gallen based in Zurich. He studied law in Zurich, St. Gallen and Uppsala. Before co-founding CASUS, he was a research and project assistant in the field of legal tech at the University of St. Gallen and an academic attaché at the Embassy of Switzerland in Canada.
